About

Heather Lane, LCSW

Hi, I’m Heather. Thanks for visiting my site.

People can experience dark days at times, where the future feels uncertain, and everyday routines become difficult. Perhaps you feel stuck in what seems like an endless cycle of anxiety or depression, need to experience healing from past hurts or traumas, or are experiencing a painful life transition. Many people have insight into their problems, but struggle to find the ability to get “unstuck.” My desire is to help you find a new path, break down old habits, and discover new tools to cope. I have worked in the field of counseling for fifteen years, helping people of various ages and backgrounds. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Kutztown University and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Temple University, and am also a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.

I enjoy working with both children and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and the effects of trauma. I also am passionate about helping women with perinatal mood disorders, such as postpartum depression and anxiety. I use a number of different evidence-based approaches to help people gain clarity into unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. I offer not only clinical experience, but also, and more importantly, a genuine love of people and true joy in being part of their healing. During our time together, you will be met with care, acceptance, and encouragement.

The journey to wholeness can be daunting, but you are making a great first step by finding a therapist. It is possible to find healing, and emerge better than you can imagine. I welcome the opportunity to talk with you about your goals.
